Quinoa. A gluten free "cereal." It was called "mother of all seeds" in the Inca culture. Rich in fiber and minerals it has 14/13 grams of protein for 100grams of product.
Tofu. Made of soy and water, is another good source of proteins. White, classic tofu has, usually, from 15 to 20 grams of proteins for 100 grams of product.
Legumes. A great source of protein. Especially lentils (up to 25grams) and dried peas (20-23grams). The highest amount can be found in soy beans. A good substitute of a meat dish.
Seeds. Pumpkin seeds (30grams), sunflower seeds(20grams), hemp seeds, (up to 30grams), poppy seeds (18 grams), are all filled with minerals and vitamins. Great for making salads and snacks. Also almonds (20grams) have a high protein content.
Spirulina and Chlorella. Two algae, two of the most powerful foods on Earth. Filled with proteins, iron and, the famous vitamin B12 which is so important to sustain a strong body and can be found, mainly, in meat and animal byproducts. Not so, we have got the algae!
